About me
I believe in God and in the living Jesus Christ, and I strive to follow the Holy Spirit’s guidance in everything I do. The Bible says, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
This also applies to my professional work as a lawyer. I am sincerely convinced that it was the Lord Jesus Christ who inspired me to start my own law firm. I experience the Holy Spirit’s support in my work every day, and I could illustrate this with many examples from my legal practice.
Until I was 30, I was a staunch atheist, but in the summer of 1991, an event occurred that radically changed everything in my life. My encounter with Jesus Christ—the details of which I am deliberately omitting—led me to where I am today. When I say “where I am now,” I mean a way of thinking, a physical state, as well as a level of freedom and independence. In Jesus Christ, I have found a shepherd, a guide, a caring father, and a faithful friend; a healer and protector; a defender against enemies; and a wise mentor.
Everything I have today, and everything I am today, is due to Jesus Christ; it is a testament to his real existence, as well as a confirmation of his love and faithfulness.
I am not God, but a fallible human being, and this is proven almost every day—my family members and closest friends know this better than anyone. Despite all my efforts, I make mistakes and sometimes fall into sin. That is precisely why I strive to follow Jesus Christ; that is precisely why I need a guide, a pastor, a mentor, a healer, and a defender. Jesus Christ came to earth not for the healthy, but for the sick. The sighted do not need a guide, the strong do not need a defender, and the wise do not need a mentor’s advice. Without God, I am blind, weak, foolish, and sick. Without God. That is why I am not without God, but with God: sighted, strong, wise, and healthy.
